Meet Kyle Gottfried

My name is Kyle Gottfried, as is obvious from the website’s domain name (I hope). I must admit that I am not really very good at writing about myself, but here is an attempt.

I am a (self-proclaimed) multi-talented person, who has worked in various positions, including as an executive assistant, virtual assistant, emergency medical technician, and nurse. I have also done personal projects that involved writing, music, and computer programming/web design. Currently, I am in the process of looking for work as I have left nursing following a few medical issues.

Although I am not currently serving as an entrepreneur, I have a long history of business ownership. While in college, with other members of my family, I helped co-found my first of three companies, Puner Enterprises, LLC, which was a company designed to promote a comic strip, Puner vs. Snow, that my brother, Corey, and I created in 2011; that company closed in 2023, after the death of our father and our subsequent lack of desire to continue the comic strip. In 2015, I founded Paragon Virtual Services, LLC, which offered virtual assistant services. Immediately prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, I had planned to expand my service offerings to include copywriting and web design services; however, the shutdown led to my postponing those additions and, ultimately, the reduction in clients led to me closing the company, as I was no longer able to meet my financial obligations. My third and final company, Pavo Holdings, LLC, which was designed to be a holding company for the other two companies — and others that I eventually planned to create — was founded in September 2019. As with Paragon Virtual Services, LLC, it was closed due to the economic downturn induced by the COVID-19 pandemic and the closing of the other companies.

I initially graduated from college in 2012 with a BA in German. Before becoming an entrepreneur, I had planned to become a translator, teacher, or linguist. After becoming an emergency medical technician during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, I began to realize the desperate need for medical professionals. I decided to return to college in 2021, graduating in May 2023, with a BA in Science, Math, and Technology, before going to nursing school and graduating with a BS in Nursing (BSN) in May 2024. I started working as a nurse in August 2024, serving for four months before experiencing a serious medical issue that has halted my nursing career.

I am sure you are asking: “Why a website?” Well, I enjoy many different things, including writing, computer programming, racing, auto repair, music, etc. Therefore, in 2006, I decided to combine my love of writing, computer programming, and racing to create a website — also realizing a dream. It has evolved over the years and more information is available here: About the Site. Today, it is a portfolio website so I can showcase my written works and, if ever I program something wonderful, my programming accomplishments. I also plan to (someday) expand the website to include information on my quest to create the ultimate smart home, as well as a blog.

I hope that this hasn’t been boring. Even if it is, you’re the one who asked for it — you clicked on my link! I think I have touched on the surface and given the important points.

With that, I say to all you, my visitors, “Thank you for visiting my website, and enjoy your time here!”
